Changes Are Unavoidable

You can try as hard as you can to keep things the same, but we all know that’s impossible. Life
happens. Things change. There’s always a new situation just around the corner.

Parents always ask me HOW do I get them to STOP worrying? HOW do I get them to just DO
what they need to do? They’ve tried everything – coaxing, bribing, pushing – and nothing works. In fact, as time goes on, things seem to get worse.

Do you ever feel that way to?

The Problem With Parenting Strategies &Mindfulness

I want to first say that you’re doing amazing. Having an anxious child isn’t easy. You’re the doing the best you can with what you’ve got. And what you’ve got are parenting strategies and maybe a few mindfulness exercises. The truth is, these only work when a child isn’t super anxious. They work when they’re a bit nervous, and maybe even a bit worried.

When a child is trying to avoid things, they are past that. They’ve entered Survival Mode, and their brain is telling them that thing you want them to do is dangerous. Now, WE know they’ll be fine. But right now, your child doesn’t believe you.

"I can't believe the changes in my six-year old!"

My daughter needed me all the time, would only play with one friend she knew really well, and would cry and refuse to go to clubs and activities. After putting the strategies in place, she’s so confident and has loads of friends. She’s even going to clubs!

The Secret To A Less Stressful Life...

In order to control your emotions you need to be able to do two things:

  1. Be aware of them before they get too big
  2. Know what to do to calm down

If you life is a never-ending experience of meltdowns, refusals and battles, there’s a very good change your child isn’t able to do either of these things. And that’s why nothing’s working.

But I can help you fix that.

Introducing...

The Coping With Changes Workshop

A 2.5-hour workshop that will equip you with the knowledge and a simple framework to help you child cope with any transition, change or new situation.

coping with sensory difficulties

If you don’t know how to create a plan that SUPPORTS your child through changes and new situations, how can you expect LESS tears and meltdowns?

Here's what parents are saying about the workshop...

"I Feel Positive About Helping My Daughter Cope"

5/5

Managing changes and anxiety was such an issue with my daughter. I found it hard to identify transitions and helping her manage changes. I felt stuck with habits we couldn’t break out of. After the workshop, I feel really positive now.

– Mary, mum of one (11 year old)

"I'm More Confident In Helping My Son Now"

5/5

My son struggles with transitions and unexpected situations. He’d be defiant, meltdown and shut down. I didn’t feel confident in helping him. His behaviour made it hard to do everyday stuff as a family. I now know strategies to help him. Thank you!

– Victoria, mum to three (12, 5, & 2 years old)

Are you thinking, "Sounds great! But what can I expect?"

What's a birthday without presents?!

I know you’ll try some of the tips and strategies I cover in the workshop soon after you finish watching it. But what happens when life gets crazy and weeks, months or years go by?

I tend to drop things when life gets busy, and  so do a lot of parents I work with. We need easy-to-access reminders to keep us implementing day in and day out.

So I’m gifting you a few bonuses (value £60)!

A £35 value

  • Everything in one place so you can refer back time and time again (if you store it somewhere handy! *wink*)

A £25 value

Planning for Tricky Situations - Workbook

  • Plan for success using my 4-Step framework that turns parents from stressed, worried and overwhelmed just thinking about having to take their child anywhere to calm and confident that things will be okay
  • Break down what could go wrong in an easy to follow step-by-step format
  • Create a plan that minimises meltdowns and increases the chances that family outings are enjoyable (yes, it is possible!)

"It really does sound great, but I'm still not sure if it's for me."

I’m going to be honest. If you’re looking for a quick fix, then this workshop is NOT for you.

I created the Coping With Changes Workshop for parents whose children seem to be more sensitive to changes and new situations than others who are looking to…

  • Understand their child’s anxiety and why they struggle so much with changes, transitions and new situations
  • Have practical strategies to help their children cope
  • How to plan for tricky situations so that they’re not as tricky
  • Feel that their child isn’t broken, they just need support
  • Who want to be able to enjoy family life again without stressing about what could go wrong

The thing is, if you’re fed up of having to manage meltdown after meltdown and not knowing why they’re happening half the time, and it feels like you’ve tried everything, isn’t it worth trying something different?

You're interested, but...
Here are some questions lots of parents have.

You’ve got instant access to the workshop. So you can start watching whenever you want!

Yes! You have lifetime access to the workshop. Lifetime meaning as long as I’m around and there’s somewhere to host it!

This workshop is essentially an anxiety workshop. If you’re looking to learn parenting strategies, then this isn’t for you.

The focus is on anxiety, but specifically on changes, transitions and new situations.

The strategies will help you break the pattern of avoidance in a way that is gentle and at their pace.

I’ve been helping parents of children with ASD/ADHD who are anxious and/or aggressive for the last 10 years. The same strategies and framework I teach in this workshop have resulted in children and teens being able to enjoy their lives again, and families being able to do things together. I even use these strategies with my own son!

I’m not going to lie. While it can be an overnight miracle, the reality is that children all progress at their own rate. I like to think of it like growing flowers or vegetables. You don’t plant seeds and expect them to be fully grown the next day. You expect to nurture them until they’re fully grown.

It’s the same with parenting. Make the changes that support and nurture your child and when they’re ready, you’ll see marked improvements. But look out for the tiny changes along the way. They are always there. It’s just that we sometimes miss them.

Yes! We ALL have the same sensory system! It’s just that parents of children with ASD and/or ADHD have been told that sensory difficulties are often linked to their child’s diagnosis. So they have some knowledge that this might be the cause of their children’s behaviour. But it is 100% relevant to everyone.

The more you understand how your child experiences the world, the easier it is to support them. The easier it is to support them, the less they’ll need to use their behaviour to show you they’re finding life difficult.

All the parents who have purchased this workshop have loved it, but I know it might not be for everyone.

That’s why I’m offering a 14-day no questions asked refund. If the workshop wasn’t what you expected, or you didn’t learn anything at all – not even one tiny little thing – then just email suppert@asdandadhdparenting.com and I’ll refund you. No questions asked!

You have 14-days from the time of purchase to check out the workshop. And if it’s not what you expected, or you didn’t learn anything at all – not even one tiny little thing – then just email suppert@asdandadhdparenting.com and I’ll refund you. No questions asked!
